We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place.  We are in line with GDPR 2018.  We use the lawful basis of consent for our data.  When you purchase from us, you have an opt in for us to sign you up to emails/newsletters.  You can opt out of this and unsubscribe by a press of a button as described below and shown as an option to you on all emails at the bottom.  We do not use your information other than to send offers and information and products to you when ordered.

When you shop on this Website, we will ask you to input and will collect Personal Information from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information and a password. We may also collect, and our third party providers of advertisements and content may collect, information about where you are on the internet (eg the URL you came from, IP address, domain types like .co.uk and .com), your browser type, the country and telephone area code where your computer is located, the pages of our website that were viewed during your visit, the advertisements you clicked on, and any search terms that you entered on our website ("User Information"). Your Personal Information may be disclosed to other businesses within the Fairydoorz partnership and to reputable third parties who will help process your order. We will not release your Personal Information to any company outside of the Fairydoorz Partnership for mailing or marketing purposes.

You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information, we are entitled do so.

When entering any of our contests or prize draws, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email. When you enter a contest or prize draw, you are also included in our newsletter list to receive notice of promotions, specials and new additions to the Website. You may unsubscribe from this news list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 10 years.

GDPR requires you to disclose if you transfer personal information outside of the EU and the legal bases you rely on to do so, such as consent and contractual necessity.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party emailing system in the US and other jurisdictions - Mailchimp is the only outside company I use to send newsletters or marketing emails about sales etc for fairydoorz. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis as Mailchimp uses EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework

In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
